It was the kids turn for a stunning room makeover this week on @theblock!
This week's episode of The Block put the spotlight firmly on children's bedrooms, with contestants challenged to create spaces that balanced personality and practicality.
One of the standout moments came from Courtney and Sev, whose room impressed both the judges and viewers alike. Their clever use of Soundstyle decorative acoustic panels in Wisp Chiffon created a striking feature bedhead that became a focal point of the room. The panels were seamlessly continued behind the desk partition, turning what could have been a blank wall into a beautiful and functional feature that doubles as pin storage while helping improve the room's acoustics.
Another talking point from the episode was the reveal of the redo rooms. It was particularly interesting to see Chantel and Wyatt remain committed to their original layout and design direction despite the opportunity to make significant changes.
For homeowners inspired by the kids' room reveals on The Block, the takeaway is clear: beautiful spaces perform best when they look good and work hard behind the scenes too. Whether it's a statement feature created with Soundstyle, a beautifully finished wall using Gyprock, or year-round comfort supported by Bradford insulation, thoughtful product choices can help transform everyday rooms into spaces the whole family will love.
