Founded in 2006 by 12 leading organisations, Hargraves is a community of organisations helping peers excel through innovation and collaboration

Prominent corporations in Australia including Coca-Cola Amatil, Suncorp, Cochlear, NAB and Qantas, freely collaborating, sharing and developing innovation processes and tools in a non-competing environment. There is only one corporate per industry in the group to enable open collaboration and CSR is the only building products company.

CSR, represented by Uwe Kramer, Head of Innovation, New Business, Innovation and Technology accepted the prestigious peer-nominated Lawrence Hargraves Award in recognition of our commitment and support of the various initiatives run by Hargraves Institute. CSR was also recognised for a milestone 5-year membership. Uwe thanked Hargraves Institute CEO Allan Ryan for providing a valuable service in guiding CSR through our journey to accelerate quality innovation. He acknowledged Hargraves in creating a close-knit community “(which) is actually the real value, for us to come together to share not just the successes, but also the failures…and learn from them.”

“Hargraves is proud to present CSR with Lawrence Hargraves award for 2018 for the contribution that CSR had made to all the members of the Hargraves Institute” said Allan Ryan, Executive Director – Hargraves Institute.  “Our purpose is to help organisations succeed through collaboration and innovation.  The CSR/Hargraves journey started with Lightweight Systems to help innovation happen and everybody in the leadership team at CSR has supported us.”
